Q. What is Gourmet Everyday?
A. Gourmet Everyday is a locally prepared meal delivery service for anyone who wants to live healthy, lose weight or stay in shape. We create high quality, healthy menu items for people who care about good tasting food. The meals are prepared fresh daily in our state-of-the-art commercial kitchen.
Q. Do I need to pick up the food?
A. No, Gourmet Everyday makes it easy! Choose your delivery date and location, and we'll deliver the food right to your door. However, if you would like to save money on delivery, we have several convenient locations for you to pick up your food. Meals delivered to the distribution refrigerator will be in insulated coolers or have icepacks as they would for home delivery. Meals should be transferred to another refrigerator immediately to prevent spoilage. Gourmet Everyday cannot be responsible for any damages to our products due to improper handling.
Q. How many meals will I get at a time?
A. Since Gourmet Everyday's meals are all natural and preservative free, we recommend no more than two to three days worth of meals delivered at one time to ensure freshness.
Q. What if I don't like something on the menu?
A. Gourmet Everyday's a la Carte menu allows you to select food items that you like. Our menus change often and on a 10-week cycle. If you don't have a preference, you can select our Chef's Choice Menu and we'll pick the items for you. You can, however, specify certain foods you'd like to avoid in 'My Account'.
Q. How many calories is it?
A. We have three different average calories-per-day Chef's Choice meal plans. You may choose from 1200, 1500 or 2500 calories-per-day plans. Individual meals nutrition information can be found on the a la carte menu. For a full list of Gourmet Everyday's meals nutrition info, click here.
Q. How do you reheat the food?
A. Our food can be reheated in the oven or microwave. Simply remove the lid and place the food into the microwave for one-minute increments or remove the meal from the package and place it in an oven-safe dish and reheat at 350 degrees until hot.
Q. How does the program work?
A. Follow the simple steps to set up an account, determine the best plan for you and start selecting your meals! We deliver meals every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. When your food arrives, place it in the refrigerator and reheat it at mealtime. If you choose home delivery, place your empty cooler on your porch the next delivery day for our staff to pick it up.
Q. Do I have to make a long-term commitment?
A. No, Gourmet Everyday understands life can get busy and schedules change. You may order only what you need. There are no refunds for cancellations of your current week service. A credit will be issued for service cancelled within the appropriate time frame. All cancellations need to be communicated by email or phone with a Gourmet Everyday representative.
Q. Do you deliver to my area?
A. Gourmet Everyday is available in many metro Detroit areas. When you add a new delivery location, we'll immediately tell you if your ZIP code is in our delivery area. If you ZIP Code is not in our system, please call today to see if we are in your area yet.
Q. Do I have to be home when the food arrives?
A. No, we will leave a personalized cooler at your location. The cooler is insulated and contains ice packs and can be outside for several hours regardless of weather.
Q. What day and time should I expect delivery?
A. We deliver meals every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday during the afternoon. All meals are delivered the same day they are prepared.
